KOM or KDM
A KOM or KDM entry that "varies" means the ability score depends on some factor or choice offered by the class or tracks. See the class or track for details.
KOM and KDM can never be the same ability.
Size
If a race's size entry indicates it varies, then the creature must choose from a selection of size categories as described in its details
Saves
Saving throw entries that indicated "varies" allow the character to permanently choose which of their saves use the Good or Poor progressions as described in their race or class descriptions.
